CAMTECH Engineering Services offers state-of-the-art training on all Mastercam products to provide you with the knowledge to quickly apply Mastercam skills on the job. For experienced Mastercam users, refresher classes can bring you up to date on newly released Mastercam features to ensure efficient and productive utilization of your Mastercam system.

Hands-on Mastercam training classes at CAMTECH Engineering Serivces are offered on a monthly basis to maximize the amount of material covered and to individualize student’s needs. Please call for specific training dates.

2D Mill Training - for new Mastercam users and covers 2D geometry construction, dimensioning, tool libraries, 2-1/2 axis machining functions, customization and verification.

3D Mill Training - designed for Mastercam users that have completed the 2D Mill Training Class or have some 3D experience with Mastercam. This course emphasizes a practical review of several areas such as 3D wire frame construction, 3D surface modeling, 3D surface machining and basic Solids creation.

Mastercam X Update Training - designed for experienced users of previous versions of Mastercam. The update course covers Machine Definition, Control Definition, and how to create customized toolbars. Geometry selection and toolpath creation enhancements and new functionality are emphasized.

Lathe Training - geared towards new Mastercam Lathe users, this course covers basic lathe design, roughing, finishing, grooving, threading and C-axis machining.

5-Axis Training - designed for advanced Mastercam users, this class covers all multi axis toolpaths. Pre-requisite for 5-Axis training class is 2D and 3D Mill training classes and an awareness of 5-Axis machining methodology.

Wire Training - structured for Mastercam users that have experience with 2D geometry creation. In depth 2 and 4-axis wirepath creation is presented.

Solids Training - desinged for Mastercam users that have experience with 3D wireframe and surface construction and are looking to move into the Solid modeling and machining arena.
